Russian lumber export reaching new top level

According to Russian Customs softwood lumber export in May amounted to 2.38 million m³, which means an increase by no less than 29% compared to the same month 2015. The seasonally adjusted annual rate for May amounted to 26 million m³ which means an increase by nearly 3 million m³ compared to the figure for January-December 2015. Exports during January-May amounted to 10.2 million m³ (+11% compared to 2015).
